• Special Olympics MA Class A Volunteer Form

  • Thank you for being a Special Olympics Massachusetts Class A Volunteer. Please complete the 4 sections of this application form. Upon submittal, you will be directed to a secure form to enter in your Social Security Number which is required for both a national background check and MA CORI check, as well as Drivers License information only if your volunteer role involves transporting Special Olympics athletes.

    You will be emailed a PDF of the MA CORI check form that requires a handwritten signature and the form to be verified in person by a Special Olympics MA CORI authorized representative. Please print the PDF, sign and date it, and return it to Special Olympics (more detailed instructions will be included in the confirmation email).

    All Class A Volunteers MUST also complete the protective behaviors training.

    This is a seperate training that can be done on the Special Olympics Learn Portal. You will also be emailed a link to it after you complete the class A volunteer form. Please make sure to complete this training as soon as possible.
